The Club organises a regular programme of social activities throughout the Season. This is especially important in the non-playing months of the year (October through March) when such regular monthly activities give Members to opportunity to remain in touch.
A regular Coffee Morning (10.30 a.m. To 12.30 p.m.) is held throughout the year on the second Saturday of each month. This is open to the public and Members are encouraged to bring friends and family. The event includes a craft sale and a raffle.
Members of both Sections get together in the Clubhouse each Wednesday afternoon in the Close Season for a Pub Quiz and general socialising.
Full-day excursions to places of local interest are occasionally organised.
Weekly Monday indoor bowling sessions are held at the Melton Bowling Club.
Please refer to the Diary Section of this website or to the main Clubhouse noticeboard for more details of the social events currently on offer.
WINTER SOCIAL PROGRAMME
Please refer to the Calendar shown in the Club Newsletter "Syston Green" and the Diary section of this website for our Winter Social Programme.
A great deal of time and effort has gone into the planning and delivery of this programme. Surplus revenues from close Season activities help to keep membership subscriptions low. PLEASE make every effort to support the Club through active participation in as many of the social events as you can.
Keep an eye on the main clubhouse noticeboard for further details of each event. Wherever possible (and requested) please register your intention to attend in order to help us to ensure that catering is provided for accurate numbers.
